The primary protection for occupants of a motor vehicle in a collision
is the body of the vehicle itself, and a child restraint will not protect
a child when the vehicle sustains very serious damage. However,
correctly installed restraints will substantially improve the chances
for survival in all accidents. Make sure that you understand the correct
way to use this restraint in your vehicle.
