Installation: Forward-Facing

Push the child seat ﬁrmly into the vehicle seat while removing 5

slack from the vehicle belt (Fig. C).

Attach the Versa-Tether6

hook to the designated tether anchor

for the chosen seating position. Remove all slack from the

tether to secure. Store excess webbing in the tether pouch.

Verify that the vehicle belt is tight, locked and the child seat is 7

secure.

The child seat is secure when it cannot be moved front-to-back or side-•

to-side more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) at the belt path. If the child seat is not

secure, repeat this procedure or use an alternate seating location.
